Ms. C. Vivian Stringer, the coach of the Rutgers women's basketball team, will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Excerpt: "She is headed to Springfield, Mass., site of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame, because of the 825 victories, the four Final Four appearances with three different teams. But all of that comes second to her role in the development of this sport. Few have had a bigger impact on the growth of women's basketball."
